Real Time Data from Trading Platforms
RTD.DB acts as a client for RTD and DDE servers like Microsoft Excel but saves the data into databases.
You can configure data sources, destination tables, and Excel-like formulas to get the required data.
Then just start a trading platform, start RTD.DB, and click the Start button.
User Interface
RTD.DB is a windows application that is running during trading hours.
It loads configuration from a database, configures watch lists in trading platforms, and updates databases with incoming data.
You can monitor active tables, rows, topics, and other technical parameters.
RTD.DB can update several tables using the same data. For example: 15-minutes, EOD, last quotes, and tick history.
Historical Option Data
Option data are the most expensive on the market.
Moreover, the data contain only basic fields.
You can create history using data from your trading platform.
For example, thinkDesktop has a lot of fields for options.
And this data set can be extended via thinkScript!
