Important notes: Yahoo Finance has protected their API used by the YahooFinanceQuotes provider.
Market.rtd now includes a new app, Authenticator.exe, which is used to acquire the required cookie and crumb.
It launches automatically when you open a workbook that uses the YahooFinanceQuotes provider. You may see a window launch.
If you encounter #N/A with an error message later, run Formula Builder, select YahooFinanceQuotes, and click Go.
You should see the correct data. Then, reopen the Excel workbook.

• Resolved #N/A errors with messages like "Invalid Cookie" or "Invalid Crumb" in YahooFinanceQuotes.
• Fixed a window blinking on opening the Excel workbook.

• YahooFinanceOptions now allows enumerating options expiration dates using columns ExpDate1, ExpDate2, etc.
  It also allows retrieving the previous and next expiration dates using columns ExpDate-1 and ExpDate+1.
  The total number of active expiration dates is available through the ExpDateCount column.
  You can find a sample of using these new formulas in the updated Yahoo Finance Options.xlsx workbook.
• The registration wizard is now available in German.

Market RTD 5.0 is a major upgrade of RealTimeToExcel.

The new name reflects the main application role of loading market data using RTD formulas.

Market.rtd has a new name for the RTD server: market.rtd instead of gartle.rtd. You can continue using RealTimeToExcel.

Existing users can install Market RTD as a new product, test it, and purchase the upgrade. See upgrade notes.

We have redesigned the application, data providers, and documentation to simplify the user experience and shorten the learning curve.

Licensing Changes

Market RTD now offers a free edition that allows data retrieval for up to ten tickers.

Paid editions feature a simplified model of limits. The Personal and Standard editions have increased limits for updated tickers.
