RTD DB

RTD DB allows saving data from trading platforms like Thinkorswim or Trader Workstation to databases.

If you can get the data in Excel, in the most cases you can get the data in databases using RTD DB.

Quick Start

• Run setup.exe and follow instructions.
• Run Start Menu, All Programs, RTD DB, RTD DB.
• Open the Help menu item.

In short, you have to make the following steps:

• Create configuration tables using install.sql from the DatabaseTemplates folder.
• Create data tables and configuration formulas using templates from the DatabaseTemplates folder.
• Insert tickers for stocks, options, or currencies into task tables.
• Create a connection to your database using the File, Open Connection Manager menu item.
• Activate your 30-day trial using the Help, Register Product menu item.
• Start your trading platform.
• Click the Start button to start saving data to a database.

Uninstalling

• Open Control Panel, Programs and Features.
• Select RTD DB and click the Uninstall button.
